How Long is the Procedure?
The procedure, depending on which of the two you have, will take around 3-4 hours and require 2 nights in hospital. Expect to take up to 4-6 weeks off work and have complete bed rest. A post-surgery abdominal garment must be worn after the procedure to minimise swelling, bruising and over-activity.
