A 1972 graduate of Abraham Lincoln High School, he attended college at Creighton University where he earned a Bachelors of Science degree in 1976 followed by a Doctorate of Dental Surgery in 1980. Dr. Flenker is a member of the Sioux City Dental Society, which focuses on continuing education. He also attended the Dental Business Mastery Program in Dallas, Texas.
Dr. Flenker is married to Deb and they have 3 children and 3 grandchildren. His hobbies include photography and woodcarving and he is a passionate hunter. He is a member of the Community of Christ Church.
