Why, for the love of Richard Simmons, can I not lose weight?!?!?

I’ve been eating eat whites, oatmeal, protein shakes, lean meats, tuna, special K cereal, peanut butter sandwiches sometimes, grinders from Subway sometimes (chicken salad, tuna), crackers, salsa and tostitos chips…just to name usual meals and snacks. Fruits and veggies here and there.

I also do zumba, body sculpting, bootcamp classes at least once or twice a week along with lifting weights and or running/eliptical a couple more times a week.

I drink alcohol once a week – but hey im 21 and i need to have a social life. I used to go out 3 or 4 times a week so I’ve cut back quite a bit for being 21 and freshly into the bar scene.

I’ve been doing well for the past couple of weeks with my food intake, but have been exercising constantly all summer. I am 5’4” and 130 lbs. I haven’t increased or decreased any except one or two fluctuation….please help. i actually found myself looking up liposuction costs today…

Sounds to me like you need to concentrate on cutting back on your carbs and increasing your protein. Not all calories will affect your body the same way. Try it for two weeks and see what happens.
