Is surgery too extreme an option for weight loss?

Over the last few years I’ve piled on the pounds and I’m now considering surgery to get rid of the flab. I’m thinking of an abdominoplasty (tummy tuck) with liposuction. Also as I’ll be knocked out thinking of an otoplasty too (ear surgery) just to tuck em in a bit. So vain, lol.

Anyway, I’m in Ireland and could get the surgery done in Prague, Czech Republic for a very reasonable price at a private clinic. They are quoting roughly €3,000 for everything. Seems a very good price to me? But is it too extreme? I’m nearly 6ft tall and weigh 247 lbs. Wow, when I think of how the lbs have piled on since I hit 30!!! Unreal. I also have asthma (which developed a few years ago), could that rule out surgery? Thanks.
Funny thing is I don’t eat much at all but then I don’t exercise. Joined a gym twice, once spending over €1000 – and only went once! : ( Bought a home gym, sold it. Bought a bike, never use it. Bought a cross trainer, sold it. Ah, seriously lacking in “get to it” juice.

surgery is not the way to approach weight loss… try diet and exercise, make a life change dude…
