Should I have the liposuction now or wait until later?

I want to have liposuction on my underarms to remove my sweat glands because I have hyperhidrosis. I want to get it done this friday, but I have a party to go to on saturday. I can’t miss the party on saturday. The doctor said he would give me iv sedation as well as local anesthesia. The surgery is only going to last an hour and a half. Should I go ahead and get the surgery done this friday, or should I wait. I want to be dry for the party, but I am scared of the pain. Has anyone had liposuction done. Is it painful?

I’m neither advocating nor speaking against the surgery, but if you do have it, I think you’ll be in much too much pain to go to a party. It’s a pretty violent procedure, with how they have to move the wand, so you’ll probably be pretty bruised and sore for a while.
