How can I best prepare myself for abdominal liposuction & tummy tuck?

Towards the end of January I hope to be getting liposuction in my tummy, love handles, and back completed with a tummy tuck. That is about 6 months from now.
I am 20, I have had one child, leaving my body very disfigured and no I don’t want any more children.
I want to know how I can prepare myself for it to minimize any health risks and/or complications.
I’ll continue exercising and eating healthy every day like I have been.
My boyfriend and I have already cut out smoking completely, and I am not much of a drinker.

Any other ideas? I want the surgery to be successful and go as well as possible.
Thanks for any advice, I really appreciate it icon smile risks liposuction

It sounds like you’re on the right track with diet and exercise as well as quitting smoking. It’s also important to stop taking certain medications like aspirin, vitamin E and anti-inflammatories, because these can thin your blood.

Make sure you stock up on foods that are easy on your stomach.

This website I found has some pretty good information if you want to read more. Keep up the good work and good luck with the surgery.
